The Village of Glen Carbon is now accepting applications for seasonal positions within the Parks Department (Gardening/Landscaping Maintenance Only). Job duties include weeding, mulching, and watering. Work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Candidates must be able to work on weekends as needed and the Village does offer flexible scheduling for those not interested in full-time hours for the spring/summer season.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to apply for work and must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record as well as be able to work in all outdoor environments. The pay rate is $17.70 per hour. This is a non-benefits position.
