We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented builder with strong mechanical aptitude to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble, fabricate, and finish refrigerator and incubator cabinets used in commercial, medical and research environments. This position is well suited for individuals who take pride in hands-on work and precision craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
–Build and assemble refrigerator and incubator cabinets from raw materials and prefabricated components
–Install insulation, doors, hardware and electrical components
–Measure, align and fit sheet metal parts to ensure proper assembly
–Inspect sheet metal parts for defects/imperfections
–Read and interpret fabrication drawings, cut sheets, and build specifications
–Operate shop tools such as drills, saws, pneumatic tools, and sheet‑metal equipment
–Ensure all cabinets meet quality, safety, and performance standards
–Collaborate and problem solve with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues
–Meet weekly production and efficiency targets
–Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
–Experience in cabinet building, refrigeration assembly, HVAC, carpentry, or related fabrication trades is a plus
–Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed build instructions
–Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
–Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
–Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods
Hours | Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30pm
Pay/Wages | $18.00 – $20.00/hour
