We’re a 7‑day‑a‑week, entertainment‑focused program built for families who want safe, reliable care that kids actually love. What You’ll Lead
As Site Director, you’ll be the heartbeat of your center — the person who ensures every child is safe, every family feels welcome, and every staff member is set up for success.
You will:
• Oversee daily operations, safety, and DCFS compliance
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team
• Deliver MKC’s entertainment‑driven programming
• Build strong relationships with families
• Manage scheduling, ratios, and center readiness
• Support enrollment, tours, and parent onboarding
• Maintain a fun, structured, high‑energy environment
• This role is hands‑on, people‑focused, and perfect for someone who thrives in fast‑paced settings.
Requirements
• You meet Illinois DCFS Director qualifications through one of the approved pathways (degree, credential, or experience‑based). Beyond that, you bring:
• Leadership experience in childcare, recreation, education, or hospitality
• Strong communication and customer‑service instincts
• Confidence managing teams and daily operations
• A calm, professional presence — even on the busiest days
• A love for creating memorable experiences for kids

Education: Associate (Preferred)
Hours: 48 – 52 hours salary
Pay/Wages: $53,000 – $60,000 depending on experience
