Join our team and support our popular cooking classes! We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to help ensure smooth class operations in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves cooking, enjoys interacting with people, and wants to work part-time in a culinary setting.

Evening shifts start typically at 4:30 PM and end at 9:00 PM, primarily on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Requires availability for 2 shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

-Set up the kitchen classroom, including prepping ingredients, arranging tools, and ensuring all equipment is clean and ready.
-Assist the instructor during cooking classes by replenishing ingredients, managing tools, and providing support as needed.
-Help maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the class.
-Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment during and after classes.
-Ensure all kitchen tools and supplies are restocked and stored properly post-class.
-Interact with class participants in a friendly, professional manner, creating a welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

-Passion for cooking or interest in culinary arts (formal training not required).
-Comfortable working in a kitchen environment and able to follow food safety practices.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the class instructor.
-Dependable, punctual, and able to handle evening shifts.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand for extended periods.
-Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs (e.g., kitchen supplies, equipment).
