Off-Campus Sites - Close to Home - Classes for Credit

Need to enhance your career, complete your degree and save money at the same time? Why spend a fortune on gas when SWIC offers a variety of college classes in a location close to you. Live in Waterloo, Collinsville, Highland or Columbia? Work or live at Scott Air Force Base? We offer college courses right in Your Community.

You can improve your computer skills, start your degree with basic English, Speech or Math courses, or take career-specific classes like foundry/sandcasting, auto body repair or food service sanitation. All these and more can be found in the Off-Campus Sites section.

Noncredit Online Courses

Update your skills, discover a new talent, or chart a career path at your own pace and at your convenience with Community Education's new online offerings. Community Education has partnered with Ed2Go to provide noncredit, online, instructor-led courses. Each course runs for six weeks and consists of 12 lessons. Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas supplement the lessons. All materials will be made available to you over the World Wide Web. Read your lessons and ask your instructor questions at times that are most convenient to you. All you need to get started is Internet access, an e-mail address, and a Web browser. Visit http://www.ed2go.com/swicce (Outside Link) for requirements, demonstrations, additional information, or to register.
