English
The English curriculum is designed to improve students ability to write with clarity and force. Before enrolling in ENG 101, all students are required to take the English placement test. Students whose test scores indicate excellence in reading and writing are assigned proficiency credit. If the scores indicate a need for developmental education, students must enroll in a course or courses designed to improve their language skills. Credits earned in reading and writing laboratories are not transferable.
