Child Care - Kids' Club
Our purpose for being here is to offer affordable and quality childcare for students, faculty and staff while in class, studying, or working at Southwestern Illinois College. The primary goal of Kids’ Club is to provide a positive, nurturing environment for the children and their families.
Counseling
Counseling programs and services are both educational and therapeutic, and are designed to foster academic, personal and career success.
Granite City Student Support Services
If you are the first person in your family to go to college, you receive financial aid or you would benefit from free tutoring in your class subjects, then the Student Support Services program at the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus of Southwestern Illinois College could be the help you need to succeed.
Learning Resources
The Learning Resource Center is an essential part of the instructional program of Southwestern Illinois College. It provides the resources, services and facilities necessary to compliment and support the College curriculum. Students, college personnel and district residents are encouraged to seek assistance in using the resources and services.
Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety provides the following services: vehicle registration (parking permits), access locked vehicles, vehicle jump starts, personal escorts on campus, CPR and First Aid, Lost and Found, engraving items for identification, Crime Prevention programs and Courtesy and Emergency message delivery.
Safe Zone
Safe Zone is a program which identifies faculty and staff who will provide empathy, acceptance, support and resources for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, cross-dressing, and intersex students.
Special Services
The Special Services Center collaborates with faculty, staff, students and the community to provide support services and accommodations for students and prospective students with special needs. Special needs may be related to disabilities, finances, academics, limited English proficiency or displaced homemaker/single parenting issues. If you are a person with one of the identified needs, we can help you build a solid plan for success.
Success Center
Located at each of the Southwestern Campuses and at the East St. Louis Community College Center. The mission of the Success Center is to supplement and enhance classroom instruction by assisting students in developing the skills and strategies to become confident, independent and active learners.
