Academic Support and Study Skills
Most online classes do not have scheduled meeting times meaning that it is up to the student alone to decide when to get work done. Students also do not have many opportunities to communicate with classmates, making the course a very independent experience. It is important that students are able to manage their time on their own, create their own schedule, and stay on top of assignments, lectures, and discussions.
Student can access virtual tutoring in three ways:
Online Tutoring Through the Success Center: Available whenever the Belleville Success Center is open.
After Hours Tutoring: Students can access tutoring through certified, professional tutors when the Success Center Closed.
Both options can be access through the Brightspace Student Services Menu:

Individualized Support
Students looking for individual support to help reach their goals can access a Success Coach. Success Coaches work with students to address challenges and obstacles to success through one-on-one student centered coaching. Virtual appointments are available!
Remote Testing
Remote testing options are available for students required to test through the SWIC Testing Centers.
