The Electrical Technician supports the wiring, assembly, testing, and integration of custom manufacturing equipment. This is an entry-level opportunity for current students or recent graduates interested in electrical systems, industrial automation, and controls.
Responsibilities
• Wire and assemble custom industrial equipment and control panels.
• Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
• Assist with PLC, HMI, sensor, motor, and control-system installation.
• Perform electrical testing and assist with troubleshooting and equipment commissioning.
• Work with engineering, mechanical, and production teams to resolve build issues.
• Follow electrical safety practices, codes, and company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate build and testing documentation.
• Learn and apply best practices for electrical assembly and automation.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
• Ability to read electrical schematics or wiring diagrams preferred.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, or industrial controls is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience through school projects, internships, co-ops, or technical training is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to climb ladders and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, noise, and dust.
Hours | 1st or 2nd shift
Pay/Wages | $25-$30
