Under minimal supervision, installs, configures, operates and maintains network environments (Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and Wireless Network (WN)), software and related infrastructure; and performs related duties as assigned.
Examples of Duties:
- Implement, configure, operate, and maintain network environments including WAN, LAN, and wireless networks.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network equipment and systems such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, controllers, access points, and related infrastructure.
- Oversee network security operations, including firewalls, VPNs, vulnerability monitoring, and remediation activities.
- Investigate and resolve network outages and performance issues; collaborate with vendors and network designers to implement enhancements and improvements.
- Maintain and operate internet, remote access, and cloud connectivity solutions.
- Support data protection and disaster recovery operations to ensure systems and data are backed up, replicated, and recoverable.
- Manage network hardware and software through the full asset lifecycle.
- Participate in technology projects, including system installation, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain data center and network facilities, including cabinets, cabling, and power configurations.
- Resolve trouble tickets related to hardware, software, and network connectivity; follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Provide instruction and training to users on networked equipment, systems, and applications.
- Set up and remove IT equipment such as computers, printers, and projectors as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assist with planning for future network and infrastructure solutions.
- Perform other IT-related or operational duties as assigned in support of airport operations.
Pay/Wages | $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 Annually
