In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position is responsible for the college’s comprehensive services to older adults. This is highly responsible and diversified managerial work involving grant procurement and working with various public, private and governmental entities as well as community and civic organizations. The position requires knowledge of grants management, excellent supervisory skills, and strong managerial skills. The position works closely with college staff to integrate PSOP with the college and its programs. The position requires visible, active representation of SWIC within the community and region. The position is responsible for all programming and staffing within the various facilities and is responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the facility at 201 North Church Street in Belleville.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is required.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Three years administrative experience is required; experience in older adult programming and services preferred.
- Three years’ experience in grant and contract writing, management and negotiation are preferred.
- Experience in managing a self-contained facility is preferred.
- Knowledge of network of older adult services, Older Americans Act and Department on Aging preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
SALARY: Salary Grade 4 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $63,750 – $79,700 per year.
WORK LOCATION: Primary office is located at the PSOP Site at 201 North Church Street, Belleville, with district wide responsibilities.
