What is the Rock your Ugly Sweater party?
Rock your Ugly Sweater Holiday Party is an online virtual way to celebrate the holiday season hosted by Southwestern Illinois College.
We hope you enjoy the holiday events we planned and have a great time!

Want to watch Santa tell a story?
Visit us virtually through facebook to watch Santa read a story and let him know what you want this year.
Want us to theme your photo?
Upload your photo taken while social distancing and choose a theme. We will post the new themed image for you to download in the theme my photo community activity. THIS IS NOT A CONTEST AND PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD YOUR THEMED PHOTO.

Faculty/Staff CONTESTS:
Enter your Ugly Sweater for a chance to win a prize.
Take a picture of you wearing your ugly sweater and submit it using the contest entry form. You must be a student, faculty or staff to enter this contest.
COMMUNITY:
Submit a photo to be themed.
Take a picture, add it to a shared drive, copy the URL, pick a theme and submit it into the entry form. There are no prizes for this activity however you will be able to download your image from the Community page.
All entries will be public on the website. If you do not want anyone to see your photo please do not submit a request.

Contest Rules
Important note:
* Please make sure to continue to social distance.
Your submission URL must be public until you see the image on the website. If we can not view your image the submission will be automatically disqualified.
- Only 1 submission per person per activity that you qualify for. If you submit more then one entry and/or request to theme a photo only the most recent submission will be accepted and all other submissions will be void.
- Images must be no more than 5MB in size.
- Please keep your submission family-friendly. No swearing. No mention of violence, drugs, or abusive material. Please wear modest clothing and make sure the background of your scene is clear of any inappropriate items.
- Submission must maintain social distancing requirements.
- Student, Faculty or Staff member needs to be in the submission photo for the contests.
- Make sure not to use images that might be copyrighted. You must own all rights to the art or photos in the submission.
- If you are not the only person involved, you must have permission from all participants to post.
- Ugly Sweater contest you must be wearing the sweater or in the picture if you created a sweater for someone else.
- YOUR IMAGE URL MUST BE PUBLIC. If we can not see your image the entry will be automatically disqualified.
- Please be safe.

There will be a team of 3-6 impartial student and/or staff judges.
The scale will be on a 1-10 rating.
Holiday Ugly Sweater Contest
- Contestants will be judged on 5 criteria: Visual impact, Originality, Effort, Quality, and Festive presentation.
- Awards will be given for the 1st – 3rd place.
