ATS provides curb-to-curb community service for individuals certified as American Disabilities Act (ADA) eligible, elderly service for those age 60 or older, and ambulatory in some areas.

Reserve ONE to FIVE DAYS in advance

Reservations for service must be made ONE to FIVE DAYS in advance, during ATS normal business hours.

Additional Information

  • ATS Elderly passengers must reside within the township, and do not use wheelchair or Walkers. Limits of Belleville, St. Clair or Stookey Township
  • May ride Monday- Friday from 06:00 a.m. until 06:00 p.m. No weekends rides for elderly customers

  • Reservations must be made one to five days in advance, during ATS normal business hours. Call 618-239-0749 ext. 2 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 6 days a week no reservation taken on Saturdays at this time.
  • Cost per ride:
    • Cash: $4 per trip (exact change required)
    • 10-trip coupon booklet for $28 (exact change or check required)
  • Ticket purchase:
    • ATS will deliver your coupon to your residence, just call reservation
  • All riders must have a picture I.D. with them
  • Guests (maximum of 2 per trip) allowed at cash fare rate
  • Personal Care Attendants (PCA) ride free for qualified ADA customers

  • Service anywhere within service area for any reason

ELDERLY SERVICE

Elderly Service Qualifiers

  • Must be 60 years old or older and ambulatory
  • Service anywhere within service area for any reason
  • Service available Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m

A ride can be scheduled by calling (618) 800-6884 or using the TransLoc app, which provides an estimated pick-up time, real-time ride tracking and an alert in advance of arrival.

Service times vary depending on the service zone. The cost is $1 per one-way trip to or from Metro Transit Centers. Trips to other destinations within Belleville’s Mobility-on-Demand (MOD) Zone are $3 per one-way trip. Those with a Senior Pass or Benefit Access Pass (BAP) can go anywhere within the available service areas for $1 per one-way trip.

Fare can be purchased through the TransLoc app, at Ticket Vending Machines at Metro Transit Centers in Illinois or the Gateway Market (2511 State Street, 62205) or Neighbors Marketplace (1001 N. 15t Street, 62205). No cash fares are accepted.

Here’s how to use the app

Download the Transloc App

  1. Open the app to see which services are available to you. Riders will be required to turn their location services on.
  2. Input your destination and book a ride through the OnDemand Service – choices are four MetroLink Stations in East St. Louis and Connecting bus routes from those stations or home, work or school destinations.
  3. Or, find what other transit options are available to you using our trip planner.
  4. Payment can be made by credit card in the app or via passes purchased through ATS or one of the local retail sites in your community.

Booking trips with ATS

ATS can currently book 1-5 days in advance. We strongly suggest booking rides as soon as possible. We also suggest not waiting to the day before to book your ride. Please use the list below to help book the appropriate days.
