The Office of College Inclusion at Southwestern Illinois College is dedicated to supporting underrepresented student populations, including first-generation college students. Our mission is to create an equitable and inclusive environment where all students, regardless of their background, feel supported and empowered to succeed.

We focus on removing barriers and providing resources that help first-generation students navigate college life, achieve their academic goals, and build a strong foundation for their future.

- First-Generation Support: Mentoring, resources, and guidance tailored to help first-generation college students succeed.
- Youth in Care Assistance: Specialized support for students who have experienced foster care, offering academic, emotional, and financial resources.
- Community Building: Programs that foster a sense of belonging and connect students with peer support networks.
