Juergen Huettner – Head Coach

Juergen Huettner is entering his sixth season as women’s head soccer coach, taking the 2018 squad to an overall record of 16 wins, 6 losses and 2 ties. In his five seasons with SWIC, Huettner has compiled a record of 67-29-5.
Prior to Huettner’s arrival at Southwestern Illinois College, he was the women’s soccer coach at St. Louis Community College (2009-2013). In five seasons with STLCC, Huettner had compiled a record of 62-44-5, including three winning seasons in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
He led the STLCC Women’s Soccer Team to three Regional Championships (2009, 2012, 2013), two District Championships (2012 & 2013) and two appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament.
Huettner was also named Region XVI Coach of the Year in 2009, 2012 and 2013 and Region XXIV Coach of the Year in 2014.

LINDSAY EVERSMEYER – Assistant Coach

Lindsay Eversmeyer is going into her 7th season as the Head Coach of Fire & Ice SC, which is a women’s semi-pro team competing in the WPSL.  Her team has won 3 Conference Championships (2013, 2017, 2018), 2 Central Region Championships (2013, 2017), and one WPSL National Championship (2017).  Her all-time record with FISC is 50-13-8.

She’s currently the College Advisory Program Director for both Gateway and Missouri Rush, while also coaching a HS age girl’s team for the club.

Prior to SWIC, Eversmeyer was the Assistant Coach for the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and the Head Coach at Harris-Stowe State University.

She played collegiately at the University of Kansas and Harris-Stowe State University.  She also was the 1st and only woman to play men’s professional soccer in the Major Indoor Soccer League for the St. Louis Steamers.

In 2018 she received the Keough Award at the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame, as well as the Soccer Legend of the Year Award presented by the CYC organization.
