Building Skills for Success: Now and the Future
Join the Success Center and Career Services for a series of workshops designed to help you explore your strengths, build skills, and stay on track to reach our goals, both in school and as your explore your future career. Participants will engage in hands on activities to explore the session’s topic and learn how to start using the skills learned right away. Participants can earn a digital badge for each sessions completed.

The Writers Block

The Writer’s Block is the Success Center’s open writing lab for all students who want a dedicated space for writers of all sorts. This is a chance to meet new people, learn writing tips and tricks, and there are always free snacks and conversations. For more information, contact Dr. Sage Doughty.
TEAS Prep Review Sessions
TEAS Review Sessions assist students in preparing for the Test of Essential Academic Skills for Nursing programs. Topics covered will be for the math portion and include number sense (fractions, decimals, etc), algebra, measurement and data. Additional sessions for Science, Reading or English can be scheduled upon request. Students will be provided the ATI TEAS Prep Manual until after they complete their exam.
All review sessions are available on a walk-in basis during the regular Fall and Spring semesters, but appointments are preferred. To reserve your spot, or to request a virtual option, email us at successcenters@swic.edu.
