The Success Centers offer workshops in English, math, biology, scholarship application, pre-nursing assessment (TEAS), chemistry, and college success skills. The workshops are designed to supplement the student’s classroom instruction. All workshops are free and, unless noted, available on a walk-in basis.
Facilitated student groups offer students the opportunity to work with other students in their courses while a tutor facilitates the group activity and helps with course content. To request a facilitated study group, contact the Success Center.
REBOOT – Find Balance, and Succeed!
Students often say the main obstacle they face in college is a lack of academic and social support. In addition to academic support such as tutoring, the Success Center also offers the REBOOT program which helps students manage stress, learn to avoid procrastination, and develop a growth mindset.
Success Center Specialists meet one-on-one with students to help identify learning strategies as well as understand specific social and emotional behaviors that impact learning and achieving goals.
