Success Center

Workshops and Study Groups

The Success Centers offer workshops in English, math, biology, scholarship application, pre-nursing assessment (TEAS), chemistry, and college success skills. The workshops are designed to supplement the student’s classroom instruction. Find the schedule here.

Facilitated student groups offer students the opportunity to work with other students in their courses while a tutor facilitates the group activity and helps with course content. To request a facilitated study group, contact the Success Center.

Boot Camps

Refresh your skills on college-level math, writing and chemistry concepts. Get a jump start with your classes. Registration for Spring semester Writing Bootcamp is now open.

Launch Your Success!

Get a strong start to the semester. During the first two weeks, walk into any Success Center and develop a free learning profile, receive a free student planner, and get your questions answered about SWIC technology including eSTORM, SWIC email, Brightspace and other academic platforms.

Reserve a Study Room (Belleville Campus)

Students can reserve a study room for 2-hour blocks, up to two weeks in advance.

Rooms 1309 and 1325 seat up to 4 people and include whiteboard, monitor, laptop, and ClickShare device for remote sharing.

Room 1313 seats up to 15 and includes a Promethean SmartBoard, and two whiteboards.
