Any student who has completed an undergraduate course at
Southwestern Illinois College may request their official transcript from
Enrollment Services. Students may still access an unofficial copy of their
transcript through their eSTORM account. Transcripts will NOT be released for
students who have a hold on their account.
Note: The name on
the official transcript will be the same as the name on your official SWIC
record. If your name has changed and you would like your official transcript to
reflect the change, you must complete the Data Change Form and include all required documentation prior to
submitting your transcript request.
Effective July 14, 2016, there will be a $6 fee per copy
for each official transcript requested. Normal processing time averages 3-5
You may request an official transcript by one of the following methods:
All online transcript orders are
processed through the National
Student Clearinghouse. Your student ID number or Social Security
number is required for ordering, along with your signature consent. You will
also be required to pay the transcript ordering fee by debit or credit card.
Transcripts are $6 per copy.
- Ordering through the National Student Clearinghouse allows you to have your transcripts emailed securely via PDF, requested for mail processing or requested for pick-up later in person at Southwestern Illinois College.
- You will be notified electronically by text or email when your order has started processing, if there are any issues and when your order has been completed.
Note: If you are requesting a transcript for Community Service courses (i.e., non-credit courses), you will need to place your order in person at Southwestern Illinois
Official transcripts may also be requested in
person at Enrollment Services by completing a Transcript Request Form and
making a payment to the Business Office. In-person transcript orders will not be
processed until a payment receipt is presented from the Business Office. Transcripts
are $6 per copy.
- Transcript requests are processed in the order
they are received. If you are waiting for final grades to be posted or a degree
to be conferred, please ensure that these items are posted to your student
account prior to your transcript request. Note: Grades posted in Blackboard are not guarantees that final grades have been posted to your student account. Final grades and degree status can be
reviewed in the eSTORM Student Center.
- If you choose to have your transcripts mailed, you will need to verify and provide the correct address for the intended recipient. SWIC is not responsible for verifying destination addresses.
