Required Placement Scores for Dual Credit Courses

Many dual credit courses require students to meet placement criteria, such as a qualifying GPA, placement test score, or completion of a prerequisite course. The High School Partnerships Office collaborates with partner high schools to ensure students meet prerequisites or have the opportunity to do so, such as by taking a placement test. Dual credit students must meet course prerequisites in order to enroll in coursework.

Requisites listed as “Eligible for ENG 99, ENG 101, MATH 107, etc.” refer to SWIC’s placement criteria and do not indicate that the course must be completed at SWIC or at the high school.
