Workforce Equity Initiative Programs
Through the Workforce Equity Initiative Grant, SWIC provides short-term (one year or less) training in several career options. These tuition-free courses will lead qualified applicants to employment in high-demand career fields with industry standard wages.
SWIC received a $1.4 million Workforce Equity Initiative Grant from the Illinois Community College Board to develop employment training programs for those who qualify.
