FACULTY

InfoShare

  1. Go to infoshare.swic.edu.
    1. Select Dual Credit Login or Running Start Login.
    2. Username: your SWIC email address.
    3. Password: your password.
    4. Complete the Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA) challenge.
  2. Passwords:
    1. Always change your password on InfoShare.
      1. InfoShare will sync your password to email and Brightspace.
    2. Passwords expire every 90 days.
      1. Reminders will be sent to your SWIC email address.
      2. Login to InfoShare and select the Change Password icon on your homepage.
    3. Reset your own password:
      1. Login to InfoShare and click the “Set up Security Questions” link.
      2. This will allow you to use the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the InfoShare homepage.
    4. Password reset help:
      1. Call 618-222-7942 or email tech.assistance@swic.edu.
      2. Please have your employee ID number to verify your identity.
      3. SWIC Tech Assistance has extended and weekend hours – view HERE.
    5. Browsers and passwords:
      1. Many browsers (Chrome, Edge, etc.) will save your passwords automatically.
      2. Once your password is changed on InfoShare, make sure the browser updates to your new password.
    6. Password and security question links, once logged into InfoShare:

Email/MFA

  1. SWIC uses Microsoft for email and MFA.
    1. Help with MFA can be found HERE.
    2. If your organization also uses Microsoft for email, you may need to sign out/switch accounts to view your SWIC email.
    3. You can also use a different, dedicated browser to access your SWIC email/InfoShare to avoid switching accounts.
  2. Login to outlook.office365.com for email.
    1. Username: your SWIC email address.
    2. Password: your InfoShare password.
    3. Complete the MFA challenge.
  3. New device/phone number?
    1. Contact SWIC Tech Assistance to have your MFA reset.
    2. Please have your employee ID number to verify your identity.
  4. Forgot your phone today?
    1. Contact SWIC Tech Assistance to have a Temporary Access Pass (TAP) assigned to your account.
    2. This will allow you to complete your MFA challenges for up to 8 hours if you forget your device.
    3. Please have your employee ID number to verify your identity.

Brightspace

  1. Go to swic.brightspace.com.
    1. Username:  your SWIC email address.
    2. Password:  your InfoShare password.
    3. Complete the MFA challenge.
  2. Notes on Brightspace:
    1. NEW Faculty – your Brightspace account will be created when you are assigned to a class.
    2. Contact your SWIC HS Partnership representative for account creation questions.

Help and Troubleshooting

  1. If InfoShare or other websites aren’t performing as expected, you may need to clear cache – directions are HERE.
  2. Otherwise, reach out to SWIC Tech Assistance for further help.

STUDENTS

eSTORM

  1. eSTORM is the student portal, where students can add/drop classes, view unofficial transcripts and much more.
    1. Go to estorm.swic.edu.
    2. User ID: student ID number
    3. Password: their password
  2. Passwords:
    1. Passwords expire every 90 days.
    2. Reminders are sent to their SWIC student email accounts.
    3. Students need to do all password resets on eSTORM to keep their email and Brightspace passwords in sync.
    4. Expired or forgotten passwords can be reset by using the “Forgot Password?” link after clicking the Sign In tile on eSTORM. Full directions are HERE.

Student Email/MFA

  1. SWIC uses Microsoft for email and MFA for student accounts.
    1. Students should check their eSTORM Student Center to verify their student email address; numbers may be added to prevent duplicate accounts.
    2. Help with student MFA can be found HERE.
  2. Login to outlook.office365.com for email.
    1. Username: your SWIC student email address.
    2. Password: your eSTORM password.
    3. Complete the MFA challenge.

Student Brightspace

  1. Go to swic.brightspace.com.
    1. Username: your SWIC student email address.
    2. Password: your eSTORM password.
    3. Complete the MFA challenge.
  2. Notes on Brightspace:
    1. Students NEW to SWIC’s Brightspace – your account will be created two weeks before your classes begin.  Try logging in then.
    2. ALL students – please allow 24-48 hours for enrollment changes to be reflected on Brightspace.  Class access will be granted on the start date of that class.
