Visit the Campus
We know choosing a college can be difficult. Aside from investigating college costs, instructional quality, and course offerings, you will want to have a firsthand view of our college. The following types of tours are available:
Information Sessions/Campus Tours
Belleville Campus - Information Sessions/Campus Tours are offered at our Belleville Campus every Wednesday at 1 p.m (except when the campus is closed). Information Sessions are lead by an Admissions Representative who will outline the enrollment process, talk about college facts and figures, and answer any questions about the college. After the information Session, tours will be given by SWIC Student Ambassadors. Prospective students should allow about an hour and a half for the Belleville Campus Information Session/Campus Tour.
Sam Wolf Granite City Campus - Campus tours of the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus are available various Tuesdays throughout the semester. An Admissions Representative will meet with you to discuss enrollment options and show you around the campus and/or the Industrial Training Center. Prospective students must make an appointment by contacting Janice Sanders at 618-235-2700 ext. 5444.
Red Bud Campus - Campus tours of the Red Bud Campus are available a variety of days and times throughout the semester. An Admissions Representative will highlight campus facilities and assist students in the enrollment process. Prospective student should contact Lyn Waller at 618-235-2700 ext. 5497 to coordinate a time and date that works best for their schedule.
Group Tours
Campus tours, tailored to the need of church groups, school classes and organizations, and social service agencies are available upon request. Tours are available Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call 1-800-222-5131 ext. 5526 at least two weeks in advance to schedule a group tour.
Find Your Class Tour (for registered students)
These tours are designed for currently enrolled students who wish to locate their classes and learn about services that will be available to them during their time at Southwestern. An Admissions Representative can also assist students in obtaining their parking sticker, Metrolink pass, and textbooks (if available).
