New to SWIC? Returning after a time away? This Orientation is for you!
All new students are invited to attend orientation sessions to help prepare for the start of classes.
Registration for Summer 2025 sessions will open on March 20.
Getting Started
To start your day, you’ll learn (almost) everything you need to know to be successful including academic expectations, getting ready for your first day, student support services, and campus resources.
Technology 101
This session will allow students to ensure they are ready to go with all their academic technology including
- eStorm student portal
- SWIC student email
- Office 365
- Brightspace
- Multi-factor Authentication and passwords
as well as learn about helpful tools and apps available to students.
Campus Tour
Take advantage of a personalized campus tour where you’ll find your classrooms, meet student support staff, learn about the best places to study, and know where to find all the important places like financial aid, advising, and food!
