Student Guide - Southwestern Illinois College

Below you will find a list of tips and helpful links for dual credit students.

You will need to complete the SWIC application prior to registering for courses. Here (I would like to insert a PDF with steps, I can put that in or provide it to you) are instructions for completing the application.

You can go here to access your student email account.

You will go here to set up your eSTORM account prior to registration; you can also check your course history, grades, and other important information through this system.

You can obtain a Student ID card at the Public Safety offices on the Belleville or Granite City campus, or by visiting the East St. Louis or Red Bud campus.

As a dual credit student, you have access to the same discounts and perks as any other SWIC student. You can also use the SWIC Library, Fitness Center, and Success Center.

Students may utilize the SWIC Success Center at any of the main campus locations.

This is where you can schedule placement testing, if necessary, for a dual credit course.

After graduating from high school, you will need to order your transcript and have it sent to the institution of your choice.

This is a great resource for checking how courses transfer to different colleges.
