There's a Storm Coming

Come Support Your Blue Storm!

Fall sports are here! The men's soccer team continues their Regional play on the road Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. at Parkland CC. The women's soccer team plays at home Thursday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. as they open Region 24 playoffs vs. Kaskaskia. The volleyball team will play at home Saturday, Nov. 1 vs. Lindenwood Belleville and East Central College in a tri-match beginning at 9 a.m. Go Blue Storm!

Intercollegiate Sports

SWIC Athletics offers seven different sports at the intercollegiate level, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball and women's softball.  

SWIC is affiliated with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and belongs to the Great Rivers Athletic Conference (GRAC), one of the leading community college athletic conferences in the nation. Other community colleges in this conference include Kaskaskia, John A. Logan, Rend Lake, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central, Wabash Valley and Southeastern Illinois College.  

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) requires institutions of higher education to prepare annually a report on specific information about its intercollegiate athletics program.
