CONGRATULATIONS TO COACH JAY HARRINGTON ON HIS 800th VICTORY!! The men defeated John A. Logan College on Saturday, 90-87. The women's team also defeated John A. Logan 53-49 as both teams opened conference play. Both teams travel to Rend Lake College, Tuesday, Nov. 25 with the women tipping off at 5:30pm and men follow at 7:30 p.m. The men's and women's teams are back home Wednesday, Dec. 3 as the women take on McKendree JV at 5:30p.m. and men play Lewis & Clark CC at 7:30 p.m. Good luck Blue Storm!

Intercollegiate Sports

SWIC Athletics offers seven different sports at the intercollegiate level, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball and women's softball.  

SWIC is affiliated with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and belongs to the Great Rivers Athletic Conference (GRAC), one of the leading community college athletic conferences in the nation. Other community colleges in this conference include Kaskaskia, John A. Logan, Rend Lake, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central, Wabash Valley and Southeastern Illinois College.  

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) requires institutions of higher education to prepare annually a report on specific information about its intercollegiate athletics program.
