Come Support Your Blue Storm!

Congratulations to both the women's and men's basketball teams for fine seasons. The women were defeated at the national tournament by Tyler Junior College of Texas to end their season. Spring is here, so come out and watch your Blue Storm baseball and softball teams. The next home game for the baseball team is Thursday, April 17 vs. Shawnee at 2 p.m. The next home game for the softball team is Tuesday, April 22 vs. LakeLand at 2 p.m.  Go Blue Storm!!

Cheer for the Blue Storm!

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2014-15 school year will be held Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 27 from noon to 4:30 p.m. 


Intercollegiate Sports 

SWIC Athletics offers seven different sports at the intercollegiate level, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball and women's softball. 

SWIC is affiliated with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and belongs to the Great Rivers Athletic Conference (GRAC), one of the leading community college athletic conferences in the nation. Other community colleges in this conference include Kaskaskia, John A. Logan, Rend Lake, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central, Wabash Valley and Southeastern Illinois College. 

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) requires institutions of higher education to prepare annually a report on specific information about its intercollegiate athletics program.
